2010 Tournament Info

Edmonton North West Zone Renegades

The NWZ Renegades are affiliated with the Canadian Athletic Club and play in the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association, Claggett Division (Peewee AA).  This division is comprised of the top 12 teams in Metro Edmonton. The league’s first round consists of eight games.  We are 6-1-1 and will finish in first or second place. Our overall record including tournaments is 20-4-1. The Renegades are currently on a ten game winning streak and recently went undefeated (5-0) to win gold at the Camrose, Alberta Peewee "AA" tournament.

The coaching staff is lead by Grant Dykstra.   Assistant coaches Trevor Jarvis, Cal Wall, and Ian Michener complete the staff. Our coaching staff consists of three former junior players and golf professional.

Our team is comprised of fifteen skaters and two goalies. There are fifteen second year and two first year players. The core of the team (1997 players) has been together since playing in Novice.  This group has won many tournaments including a City Championship. Our style of play is a clean, fast offensive system.

The players, coaches and parents thank you for giving consideration to the Renegades application. Two of our parents have played in your tournament and both say it’s the best that they have been in.
