Prince George PeeWee Viking Cougars
The Prince George PeeWee Viking Cougars team represents the P.G. Minor Hockey Association. At the PeeWee level there are five separate divisions and a total of 249 players. The five divisions include a boy’s tier one and tier two rep team, a girl’s rep team and thirteen club/house teams.
The PeeWee Viking Cougars must travel in order to play other Tier one teams. The closest competition is Kamloops, B.C. or Grand Prairie, Alberta.
The 2009/2010 team is comprised of fifteen second year and two first year players. Eight of the second year skaters played rep hockey last year, seven in Tier two and one in Tier one.
The team goal for this year is to improve each game and use the experience gained to play well at the provincial level. The team has two coaches, a management team and trainer who support the players to hopefully havew a successful year and rewarding experience.
