Tournament Info
- Registration fee - $1100.00 (mailed once the
selections have been made).
- C.A.H.A. rules will apply.
- Five games guaranteed. Three period games (20
minute stop time periods).
- Overtime: ten minute stop time, sudden victory
period(s). No games will end in a tie.
- All players must hold Mutual Aid cards (player
insurance).
- All players my be registered with the
B.C.A.H.A. in the Pee-Wee division or applicable body. Players and
coaches cards MUST be presented at the
pre-tournament meeting (no exceptions). Bring originals and/or
photocopies.
- All players must have played in the Pee-Wee
division all season.
- All teams are required to bring sets of both
light and dark uniforms.
- All teams must carry their own equipment.
- No
billeting will be available. The Tournament Committee, upon your
acceptance in the tournament, will make the hotel accommodations for
your team. All tournament activities such as player registration,
banquet, adult nights, etc. will take place at the Best Western Vernon
Lodge Hotel. The Tournament Committee has reserved the entire hotel for
this tournament.
- As this is NOT a
minor hockey event, parents will be asked to purchase a tournament pass
to view the games.
- Deadline for acceptance of applications is
November 16, 2011.
- A
souvenir program is printed each year. We request the following be
returned with your application so that it can be included in the
program:
- A digital team picture and a picture of any
one single player standing upright in uniform (dark uniform please) - click her to view sample.
- The player lineup, names and numbers
denoting the Captain, Assistant Captain(s), Trainer, Coach, and Manager
(see Tournament Application).
- Small write-up on your team and/or some
history of your Minor Hockey Association (see Tournament Application).
All
of the above information must accompany your application and must be
received prior to November 16, 2011. We request all applications to be
sent via e-mail and must include the team and individual picture.
NOTE: Teams
must be present at the Best Western Vernon Lodge Hotel on Wednesday,
February 8, 2011, for registration. Team registrations will take place
between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. The coach's and manager's meeting follows
registration and will take place at approximately 9:00pm.
The
tournament commences play on Thursday morning, February 9, at 8:00am.
The finals will be on Sunday February 12, the "D" final at 10:00am, the
"C" final at 12:30pm, the "B" final at 3:00pm, and the "A" final at
6:00pm.
